Major League Softball, Inc. provides adult slow pitch softball programs throughout Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside & San Bernardino Counties. We are always looking for reliable people who possess an understanding of the game of softball to scorekeep and keep computerized stats. This opportunity pays $20.00 PER GAME CASH PAID ON THE FIELD NIGHTLY. Training is available, however you should posses a strong knowledge of baseball / softball.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
A valid drivers license with reliable transportation. E-mail access. Cell Phone for on-field emergencies. Available to work evenings between 6PM-10:30PM. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to multi-task. Dependability and reliability are VERY IMPORTANT. Must have good people skills and a winning personality!
DUTIES OF SCOREKEEPERS:
Keep score and record stats for Adult Slow Pitch Softball games. Scorers arrive thirty (30) minutes before the first game, open up the facility, and set up a small table and computer system. Scorers handle a variety of tasks in addition to scoring the game such as handing out paperwork, collecting game fees and recording incidents such as injuries, forfeits and ejections. A typical shift consists of three (3) 55-70 minute games scheduled back to back, but may be anywhere from 2-8 games.
